Getting the Most from Paint
Three paint colors doesn’t sound like much. Using these same 3 colors to paint an entire house might sound like a difficult task – especially when your goal is to have each room be unique. But the fact is that 3 colors is more than enough variety for even a larger size home. You might be surprised to learn that many of our clients only use 2 colors on their homes!
Here’s a few tips to get the most out of your colors.
White Doesn’t Count as a Color
This doesn’t mean you have to paint your walls white. The best use of white is as an accent color on trim, window casing, doors, etc. Too often people reserve white for areas they consider “empty space”, when in fact, those are usually the areas that could use a color. The Versailles House used this to their advantage quite effectively on their coffered ceiling.

These selections work well with dark wood floors, dark wood ceiling fans, and the lighter wood cabinets.
